Founded in 1986 to address the need for greater energy efficiency in electrically powered infra-red dryers, the company is based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire,England. Compact Engineering is a customer focused company approaching each project on an individual basis thus ensuring that the customer receives a solution that meets every expectation. |

Compact are the only infra-red paper dryer suppliers that design and manufacture their own
lamps. We have a manufacturing facility (pictured left) dedicated to the production
of infra-red lamps that emit at wavelengths that provide the optimum balance of
medium and short wave energy to promote absorption and penetration. |
