| Compact Engineering short-wave dryers are ideal for moisture profiling applications. Firstly, we remove (not add) the moisture to flatten the profile - this reduces the average moisture thus allowing a machine speed increase with an added increase in sheet quality. Speed increases of 10-20% are achievable. With a flat moisture profile the papermaker is free to investigate and correct other machine parameters. |

The production increase expected is: +0.3ton/m/h/Corona 800 installed. For example if 2 Corona 800's are fitted to a 3m wide machine : a production increase of 43.2 tons per day is expected. The equipment can be fitted during an annual maintenance shutdown and will typically pay for itself in 100-300 days. |
