The CORONA dryer was developed specifically for the paper and board industry in response to the ever-present demand for increased drying capacity with minimum space requirements. The challenge was to pack the maximum drying capacity into the minimum space while reducing energy costs.
The result is the Corona curved dryer delivering more drying capacity per meter width than any other dryer in the world. The Corona is available for 400 volts or 480 volt systems.
The Corona is ideally suited to high production machines where improved quality and production increases, combined with reduced energy costs per tonne, are the aims.

All the energy input into the dryer is used to cause evaporation – only a thin strip of light is visible from the entry and exit slots.
